Raamezah Ahmad

A professional graphic designer

Hello! I’m Raamezah Ahmad. I’m currently working as the Graphic and Web Design Manager at the American Feed Industry Association. In my position, I do a wide range of design work, including web graphics, infographics, and event collateral (such as posters, booths, brochures, mobile app, flyers, save the dates, etc.). I’m the lead designer for our annual publication and edit/produce video content. I manage all of the association’s websites. I also work as the graphic designer and web manager for our public charity, the Institute for Feed Education & Research.

A little background on me: I started out young in print design and very quickly realized design is something I love. In my first year at George Mason University, I became a student instructor and taught people how to use the various Adobe programs to their greatest potential, as well as how to code webpages using HTML and CSS. During that time, I taught myself how to code and became Adobe Certified in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Aside from my love for graphic design, I also have a passion for instructing and teaching people the ins and outs of the programs I use on a day-to-day basis. Previously, I was president of AIGA-Mason, the national organization for graphic arts and the graphic designer for Mason’s Student Centers. From George Mason University, I received my bachelor’s degree in art and visual technology with a concentration in graphic design.
